Restaurant Interior Design & Fit-Out
Koto is an independent Japanese restaurant that relocated to Walton Street without fully resolving its interior design or customer experience. Lynrace Studio re-planned the space to maximise covers while carefully orchestrating staff flow between guest arrival, point of sale, kitchen service, and clearing, improving both efficiency and atmosphere. In response to the owner’s ambition for a true izakaya experience, we introduced a defined bar and clearer separation of front-of-house functions. The brand was enhanced through a bespoke supergraphic on a suspended, back-lit canvas wall, complemented by curated artwork from rona painting gallery. New lighting and control systems allow the space to transition seamlessly from daytime dining to an intimate evening setting.
