LOX Office Alterations and Refurbishment
Lynrace Studio were appointed to lead the architectural design, workplace strategy, and project management for the comprehensive refurbishment of Lucy Group’s headquarters at Eagle Works in Oxford. Building on the successful relocation of Lucy Real Estate, this project reimagines work, meeting, and breakout spaces across multiple floors of the existing HQ, aligning the environment with the Group’s evolving operational and cultural needs. Our scope included briefing, options studies, concept design, detailed interior planning, coordination with Ashlar-ID, and full management of technical design, procurement, tendering, and construction. The programme involved extensive stakeholder engagement facilities, IT, M&E, QS, contractors and continuous site attendance to sequence works within a live operational building, ensuring minimal disruption. The result is a modernised, more efficient and human-centred workplace that strengthens Lucy Group’s identity while improving daily functionality for teams across the organisation.
