Retail Interior Design
Oxford Yarn Store is an independent specialist retailer on North Parade, well known for its extensive range of high-quality yarns, knitting tools, and a strong community focus through workshops and events.

The business relocated a few doors along the street into No. 3 North Parade Avenue, a distinctive character building formerly occupied by Popham Hairdressing, giving the shop a more prominent and flexible setting.
We assisted in deciding of the retail configuration to maximise display, storage, and customer flow, while retaining the welcoming, informal atmosphere central to the brand.
A key element of the project was the design and replacement of the existing metal spiral stair with a Building Regulations–compliant staircase, improving both safety and access to the mezzanine.
The result is a warm, adaptable retail environment that supports day-to-day trading alongside community use, while making full use of the building’s period character
