Dutch Barn Conversion

Shack HQ is the conversion of an existing Dutch barn into a contemporary office and studio environment for The Shack Group. Lynrace Studio was invited to redesign an already consented scheme, reworking the proposal to increase levels of glazing, improve daylight and views, and introduce a clearer, more contemporary architectural language. The project represents a sensitive but confident change of use from agricultural barn to modern workplace, balancing the simplicity of the original structure with refined detailing and robust materials. The completed building will provide a flexible headquarters space that reflects the Shack brand and its design-led, modular ethos, with completion targeted for Spring 2026.
