THE BELL HOUSE
Short-Stay Apartments, Oxford
The Bell House project involved the refurbishment and alteration of an existing building in Headington to create six stylish short-stay studio apartments, each thoughtfully designed for comfort, convenience and flexible use. The new apartments provide fully furnished, self-contained accommodation with ensuite facilities, kitchenettes and contemporary interiors, ideal for business travellers, academic visitors or extended stays in Oxford. On-site parking, high-speed Wi-Fi and practical work-ready spaces were incorporated to support both leisure and longer-term guests, enhancing usability and appeal within the vibrant neighbourhood. Lynrace Studio was responsible for gaining planning permission for the change of use and managing the discharge of planning conditions, alongside the spatial planning and technical design of the scheme. The works transformed the existing building into a cohesive and efficient hospitality asset, delivering comfortable, work-ready accommodation that sits confidently within Oxford’s short-stay market.
